The Prosthetics Event

It’s an educational and shopping event for people interested in prosthetics, make-up FX and related fields, and their use in everything from major film and television productions to scare attractions and cosplay. It caters for professionals, students, hobbyists and fans alike within a culture of knowledge-sharing and learning. The schedule comprises a full day of demonstrations and educational classes in the main lecture theatre and this year there will be other education zones in addition. There are also demos and classes on stands plus sale of products, materials and smaller scale prosthetic works.

Monster Mash / Body Art Zone / Education Stage

Inhabiting its own, much larger space for 2015 will be the Monster Mash Exhibition – this showcases creatures and make-up FX by various artists, and a number of high profile Artists in Residence will also be practicing their crafts there for you to watch. This will be combined with the colourful Body Art Zone and the room will also house a small stage for some brand new educational features, to be announced soon. Look out for announcements about who will be taking part in the Monster Mash this year as we get closer to the event.
