The Prosthetics Event

It’s an educational and shopping event for people interested in prosthetics, make-up FX and related fields, and their use in everything from major film and television productions to scare attractions and cosplay. It caters for professionals, students, hobbyists and fans alike within a culture of knowledge-sharing and learning. The schedule comprises a full day of demonstrations and educational classes in the main lecture theatre and this year there will be other education zones in addition. There are also demos and classes on stands plus sale of products, materials and smaller scale prosthetic works.

Exhibitors

The exhibitors’ rooms will be more spacious this year featuring plenty of demos to watch. Some of the leading suppliers of materials and products will be with us, plus companies who work in specialist areas of prosthetics and education providers with information about their prosthetics and SFX courses.

Exhibitors / Body Art Zone / Application Station / Photo Booth

The colourful Body Art Zone is a hive of activity all day, with around 13 artists painting their models throughout the event, ready to show their work in the Body Art Catwalk on the Main Stage at the end of the day. The popular Application Station is bigger this year, with a number of makeup FX artists applying their looks throughout the day - look for them touring the building when they’re finished! In the Photo Booth, take photos of your favourite makeups of the day and watch our professional photographers taking the official images. For the first time this year there will also be a number of retail exhibitors in this busy room.
