Julie’s first interest in body painting was at a very young age when she saw an advert for Malibu with a woman in a body painted t-shirt and shorts. She was fascinated then and still is now at the effects she can create with painted clothes.
Julie Husband started face painting 5 years ago after helping a friend with some theatre
make-up for a pantomime, and a year ago she did her first full body paint. She now runs the Bodypaint Project with Tina Smith, Charlotte Gardner and Sarah Scarer Smith to raise the profile of body painting and give new as well as experienced artists, models and photographers the opportunity to extend their portfolios.
The title of Julie’s piece at the event will be ‘Zombie Death Trooper’, modeled by Sean Connor.
